Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and bipolar disorder are two medical conditions that can occur together in the same person at the same time.1 Studies vary, but a large meta-analysis from 2021 estimated that about 69% of people living with OCD have a second psychiatric diagnosis at some point in their lifetime.2 It's bipolar disorder in about one in four of those cases.
